Balance is an important skill for ninjas to have to properly develop their martial arts kicks. Having good balance will also increase their speed and agility. Balance especially leads to better posture, which will make your child appear more confident.
This skill is crucial to develop at an early stage. Your child is beginning to participate in many physical activities that are challenging, like riding a two-wheel bicycle.
A Yellow Stripe is placed on the Taekwon-do TOTs belt when they achieve a Balance skill.
(3) Memory
Memory is a valuable skill that Taekwon-do TOTs will develop. As they train they will begin to retain techniques and lessons. They will remember the important things that they are shown and taught in our classes. Remembering their martial arts techniques will also prepare them for our Taekwon-Do classes where memorising their pattern movements is required.
Developing a good memory is exercise for your child’s brain. Our class activities are constantly helping your child think and leads to a more active and alert child.

(4) Co-ordination
Co-ordination is all the body parts working together to produce the desired movement. Co-ordination goes hand in hand with balance to attain the gross and fine motor skills. Children are developing at this time, and co-ordination is necessary for any sport or physical activity. Fine motor skills are the ones using small muscles, such as fingers, while gross motor skills use the larger muscles, such as legs and arms. Your child will learn their left side and their right side. They will become better physical participants in sports and activities.

Teaching teamwork to young children is very important. Taekwon-do TOTs are exposed to positive interaction with other children. By having an organised game plan and instructor supervision tiger tots & Taekwon-do TOTs will learn together and have fun in the process.
Teamwork skills are necessary for any young child to develop. The more confidence your child shows towards working with others, the more they will get on and begin to express their opinion. Your child will develop character, which will help him / her make new friends.
