Sunday 7th of June 2009 saw Togher Taekwon-Do student Jessica O Driscoll present herself for the summer Blackbelt grading. This is Jessica’s second attempt as she broke her toe after December’s prelim in 2008. Students had to perform in front of the promotions committee of the I.N.T.A. which consists of Master Brendan O'Toole VII Master Val Douglas VII & Mr. Gerry Martin VI Degree. Jessica who was one of the first members of Togher Taekwon-Do becomes the clubs second Blackbelt. Togher Taekwon-Do would like to congratulate Jessica who was promoted to I Degree Blackbelt and in turn receives the title of Miss O’Driscoll. Togher Taekwon-Do would also like to congratulate Turners Cross Taekwon-Do Academy students Mr. Dylan Fitzgibbon and Mr. John Fitzgibbon who were promoted to II Degree, Mr Richard Chute, Mr. Conor Mulcahy & Miss Cara Robertson who were promoted to I Degree.

33 students in all presented themselves for the grading at the TKD Centre in Dublin.
